Do You Have Short Term Memory Loss

Thanks Strohbro! I love this topic beacuse I truly believe this is what seperates the best from the rest. No one is going to play high-level softball unless they have superior physicial skills, that's for sure! But if you want to be the best, you have to think like the best. This is the borring, not-so-sexy part of that road to the highest level that rarely gets press. Great stuff!

Most kids have short term memory loss when it comes to the game and it's situations...it's the parents who don't and we keep bringing it up when they were young.

I was guilty of it.

In my opinion you should read the The Talent Code by Daniel Coyle. This informs you how to practice and gives many examples of how the best in the world actually do it. It also deals with how to learn from the errors. There are many short articles on how to do anything and this is not a short cut as it deals with multiple subjects and how long it takes to become really good at what they do.

There are no short cuts to success....it takes ten years to become really good at what you want to do and cites many examples.
Where is your daughter as to improving herself and her game in the 10 year process?

Very interesting at a clinic to hear how often they actually practice on their own to improve their skills.

Just my opinion Howard
