Mitch,

Here is something completely off the subject.

Would you have any interest pitching a game- or maybe two- on a Thursday night in the Columbus men's fastpitch league? I know that would be a 45-60 minute drive for you. We actually had a pitcher from one of the travel teams drive in tonight from Cincinnati to pitch for us. The guy that was supposed to be our pitcher punked out on us right before the first game of the season.

I know it might be a longshot, but I'm putting out feelers for any possible pitchers and I remembered you from the tournament in North Lewisburg last summer.

If you know anyone who wants to get in some innings, have them drop me a line!

I have been to the park of roses over the last 3 years and I have been playing and pitching for the locker room. If I find anyone I send them your way

I wasn't sure if you were on a team in that league.

We played The Locker Room tonight! Good game, went down to the last batter. Bottom of seventh, two outs and Locker Room was one strike away from a one run loss. The batter doubled and the next guy homered. End of game!

I'll keep my eyes out for you and say "hi" if I see you this summer.

Mitch,

I just wanted to make sure if it is OK to bring a check with us or should we drop it in the mail for you?

We are looking forward to getting out and knocking the ball around a little bit. It should be alot of fun.

The Ohio Wave 14U (Rosinski) team and our parents want to thank Mitch and his crew for putting on an excellent scrimmage today for everyone. You guys did a great job hosting the event and even a better job with the weather. :)

It was great to see the teams out there today as they get ready for the summer. I hope that the SS for Mid Ohio Thunder is OK. I understand that she may have had a serious ankle injury. Please give her our best.

Thanks,

Rich

The West Liberty Force would like to thank everyone for coming today;
Ohio Heat, Ridge Runners, Urbana Luna Chix (mostly 12u), Mid Ohio Thunder, and Ohio Wave
We got a good chance to work on some things today and hopefully my ladies learned a little bit about themselves today.
Thanks again to everyone!!

To all concerned,

My DD is the Mid-Ohio Thunder SS. The X-rays seem to be negative, but we will know for sure tomorrow. It appears to be JUST a serious sprain and deep ankle bruise. She is in an air cast for the next couple days to help stablize the ankle. Other than that she is OK. We greatly appriciate all of your concerns. Now comes the tough part of keeping her off of the ankle. To Mitch and those with West Liberty, you did a fine job as we have come to expect form your parents and organization.

To the young ladies from Urbana Luna Chix, remember that these things happen, its a part of the game.

Just wanted to thank the West Liberty Force for putting on such a well run scrimmage. It was nice to see such good sportsmanship and competitive play by all the teams. I also would like to thank the umpires who did such a great job today. Hope you feel better soon Mo.

Coach Ron

I will pass on to my girls that you DD will be OK. We all hate seeing these young ladies get hurt. I hope to see your team later this summer with our full 14U team. Good luck this summer

Hey Mitch....thanks for a great day of softball! ?My team, coaches and I really enjoyed our day in West Liberty. ?We look forward to coming back again. ?Thanks for asking about our shortstop, Morgan. ?She'll be fine. ?She always springs back quickly. ?
I also want to thank all the teams for some competitive softball. ?The Ohio Waves were strong. ?Our last game against them was definitely a "Battle of the Pitchers" and was a fight until the end. ?We had a few players missing yesterday, but for the ones that attended, it was fantastic practice! ?I was proud of them. ?The parents & I appreciate how respectful & courteous everyone was. ?It would be our pleasure to play all of these teams again, anytime! ?Hope to see you all again during the season.

Thanks to all for the kind words!!! I will pass it on to my parents also!!
Glad to hear that the Thunder SS Morgan is not as bad as first thought. Hope she recovers well and soon so she can get back on the diamond.
I would love to have all teams back in West Liberty again to do it all over again. I wish I could control the weather but as you all know by the way my team plays from time to time I am not GOD! Don't get me wrong I will take the group of girls I have to any tournament because win or lose they are a great bunch. So as far as the weather after all this is gods country (West Liberty)haha lol!!
Hope all teams have a successful season.
Pencil this weekend next year for another scrimmage/ tournament to get started!
Thanks Mitch
