Fairborn Skyhawks Softball Camp​

What: The Fairborn Skyhawk softball camp is for any girl in grades 3 thru 8 who has the desire to learn more about the fundamentals associated with the game of softball. This camp will be conducted by the Fairborn Softball coaches: Brad Walker, Brad Grimpe, Sandy Hentges, and Bob Shively, with the help of our High School athletes. Tim Duncan, fastpitch batting instructor, will also provide hitting tips and instruction.

When: Saturday, March 7, 2009 9:00 to 12:00

Where: Fairborn High School Gymnasium

Cost: $15 per player ? Fee includes:
Fielding instruction
Hitting instruction
Pitching instruction
Catching instruction
Sliding instruction

What to Bring: Glove
Bat (If you have one ? if not, we have some you can use)
Helmet (If you have one ? if not, we have some you can use)
Tennis shoes
Sweatpants

For anyone who wants their dd to work with Howard and can't get in with him this would be your next best choice. Not only does he do a good job with hitting he is great with the kids too! Great opportunity for anyone who can attend!

I'll second that, Tim knows his stuff as evidenced by the Boulder who absolutely crushes the ball. Look for her to be the next big thing out of Ohio softball.

I do not know the other coaches involved in this clinic however I do know Tim and what he teaches and YOU will learn something from him and his daughter.

He has been helping us at the Busto's clinics and I have been working with him for three or four years now and trust him as to technique and what he teaches....it shows in his daughters hitting ability also!

The only draw back we see to working with Tim is he looks like Larry The Cable Guy and when you think of seeing him on Comedy Central and then teaching hitting ....you laugh just a little from the inside!

However your kid will hit better and that is no joke or laughing matter!

Tim is a very nice person and will help anyone that will just ask for it. And the Apple doesn't fall very far from the tree because his daughter Britany is the same way.

This will be a great camp to go to. Fairborn will be a team that will step up this year. They will give their league a run for the money.

Never give credit to anyone for helping you out, take all the credit for yourself and never say thanks either! That will make you politically correct!

I had the pleasure of working with the Fairborn High School team today and some are 8th graders...every girl was polite and the coaches wanted to know more. It was a pleasure working with them and you could see it start to work.

Again just the throwing was insightful and you could see them using better mechanics and start popping the glove...it is fun to watch the kids start to get it. The Big Zone was a light bulb moment and they understood the hand path and staying inside the path of the ball.

Thanks for allowing me to help Tim and thanks to the coaching staff for keeping an open mind.

Tim has done a great job with all of your kids and if allowed he will do even more....he and Brit do a great job at the clinics we do with CB and I am trying to get him to come to the SDS clinic also.
