Sophomore designated player Kendall Fields opened the scoring with a two-out, first-inning grand slam and freshman Tieghan Morio threw six solid innings of relief to help lead the Ball State softball team to a 7-5 victory at Western Michigan's Ebert Field Friday afternoon.
