ASA Tournament Fourth Annual Mason Fall Classic - October 6th & 7th

Mason Softball Boosters will host the Fourth Annual Mason Fall Classic on October 7th!

This will be 14U and 16U only tournament this year!

Cost - $225.00/team (make checks payable to: Mason Softball Boosters)

Location: Mason High School Complex in Mason, Ohio

Awards: Championship T-Shirts will be given to 1st place in each age group

• Game MVP awards during pool play
• Tournament shirts/Full concessions available

- 3 Game Minimum (weather permitting), format will be determined by number of teams entering.
- ASA-Sanctioned Event - Non-Qualifier

•

- Maximum 6 teams/age group
- Pitching distance for 14U is 40 feet. HS division is 43 feet
- Metal spikes are allowed for HS division
- Two umpires per game for all games

- Standard ASA Rules will be used for all games with exceptions noted below.

o Continuous batting line-up if desired​

o Free defensive substitution​

Will this be one age per day like last year or play on both days?

We are open to HS division like last year, we just haven't gotten much interest from 18U. As far as days go, we will wait and see how the response goes in the next week. Plan on a two day tournament at this point, but we may change it.

The tournament will be conducted with the 14U teams competing on Saturday, October 6th and the 16U teams competing on Sunday, October 7th.

Feedback from coaches that played in our tournament over the past few years is that their players enjoyed the tournament, facilities, and competition. Most importantly, they had fun!

We will make a "go, no-go decision" on this year's tournament by this Friday, Sept 21st.
