The last post I made in this forum was about our organization; this one is specifically about my team.
Freedom Elite 16u College Showcase team is coached by Tim Adams (President and Founder of Freedom Elite organization, former co-founder of the Liberty Blazers (a.k.a Blazers), Mason Thunder, LSO Board Member) and Mark Santos (formerly of Ohio Edge, Valley Storm, Road Warriors, and Mason Thunder). Combined we have over 30 years coaching and organizational experience with ACE Level 3 certification.
Our home fields are Walter J. Long fields located at 7894 Kyles Station Rd, Butler County, OH 45044 in Liberty Township (southwest Ohio near Monroe and West Chester). We are a 501 (c)3 under the auspices of the Lakota Sports Organization (LSO).

The focus of our team getting our players exposed to college coaches and helping them secure athletic scholarships to aid in covering their college expenses with D1, D2, D3, NAIA and/or JUCO schools. Our schedule is aggressive and fairly travel extensive in our pursuit of this quest. We require that our players and candidates for our team have good grades (GPAs of 3.0 or greater) and demonstrate a willingness to proactively reach out to college coaches and attend camps/training (with our guidance and assistance).
We also require that our players work outside of practice and games with private instructors (hitting and pitching coaches, speed, strength, and agility, etc.). Last season 11 of 13 players made their varsity HS teams and 5 players received conference/area recognition (1 first team and 4 second team) and 3 more players received team recognition (1 MVP and 2 Defensive POY awards).

We have already scheduled to attend an event on Sep 26-27 where we will play college teams in Ashland, KY and a private hitting camp at Tennessee State University on Oct 3-4. We are also committed to doing private camps at Asbury University (our 2nd this year), University of the Cumberlands (our 5 event in 4 years), Georgetown College, and Walsh University.
We also feature the professional services of a sports psychologist and a ACT coach for our players. This past winter we attended two hitting camps conducted by Mary Ellen Bonner and Chelsea Hortman. If possible, we hope to have Chris Miner conduct defensive skills training with our players.
Colleges and universities pursing/following our players includes: Tennessee State, Maryville, Geneva, Ohio Northern, Northwest Ohio, Cumberlands, Ohio Wesleyan, Union, Mount Union, Mount St. Joseph's, DePauw, Georgetown, Asbury, Chattanooga State, Brewton Parker, Walsh, Oberlin, Otterbein, Defiance, Pittsburgh Bradford, Hanover, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Middle Tennessee State, Urbana, Findlay, Belmont, Bowling Green, Ashland, Northern Kentucky
Our fees for the 2015-2016 season will $525 with participation in one organization fund raiser.
