what can a young lady do if she has a scholarship and at the last minute Covid causes the institution to either abolish softball all together or tell the lady's there is no more scholarship available...

what can she do??? does the LOI guarantee her anything if numbers and monies are detailed?

1) too late to transfer ?
2) too late to get another school to offer her a scholarship? if the 1st school has no money. what school does??
3) maybe 2021 money will be available again ?

seems like a nightmare that could destroy a young ladies hopes and what she has worked and dreamt about for so long. really stinks!

That’s a lot of great questions DanMaz. I’ve read about some lady’s leaving the Colleges they signed with because of all the player receiving an extra year eligibility because of coronavirus. I did read we’re one school did honor a signed players Scholarship by making up the difference she was going to lose by transferring to another colleges. Hopefully some college bound lady’s can rely to this post.

i would think that any college in this type of situation would release them from a commitment
