Yes, neither GC nor TW did much with either's #1 pitcher. I don't think we (TW) put more than one or two balls in play against her in the three innings she threw. I think GC had maybe two or three baserunners in four innings off of our #1, but I don't think any of them reached second base.
There was some action after the 4th or 5th inning, but hard to put much stock in it, other than evaluating some individual players.

Avon Lake had indoor scrimmage against Elyria.....Shoregals won 3-1....yes, it would probably be a different story outside but did see good defense and pitching on both sides......can't wait for the sun to come out!
