We are looking for a few first year ten teams to get together this Saturday, April 11th, in Carlisle to scrimmage. We have two fields secured and concessions available. Looking to charge a one time fee of $25 per team and split umpire costs with each team. The weather looks promising and the fields have brick dust. We would like to be able to play three games a piece. We are the Ohio Hawks 10U Black team and have another local Carlisle select team and possibly the OFC Heat. If you would like to get in on some friendly play, give me a call or email me as soon as you can. Carlisle is located by Franklin / Springboro area. The fields are off of SR 123 on Jamaica Road. Feel free to call me with any questions. We would love to be able to get a good day of ball in, meet other teams and coaches. Email me at robbie@orthelectric.com or call me at 513.267.6453. We are a first year 10u looking for some experience and playing time and we hope you will join us!

We have four teams that have signed up and 2 more that are going to get back with me. We can schedule you a DH or 3 games. Looking to try to get the brackets and game times set soon so email me or call me asap. Thank you to all the teams that tried and could not make it and the ones that have girls out of town. We look forward to meeting all of you at one field or another. Great to get to know you all from other organizations and we are anxious to meet you. If there is a team out there that couldn't make it, please feel free to call if you want to set up future scrimmages and we would be glad to try to schedule one. Thanks again for the support and get with me if you want in this Saturday!;&

The fifth team just confirmed and I will be emailing directions and the game times. Hopefully the rain will be forgiving and we can get in a good day of softball. I sincerely appreciate the support and very anxious to meet the other teams and coaches. The concessions will be closed but the bathrooms will be open. We will be using field #5 and field #1, they are right beside each other. Look forward to future scrimmages with the teams that checked in and those that were not able to make it. Give us a call anytime and will try to get together.:yahoo:

Coaches,

I want to thank all of you for helping put this together in short notice. It is nice to talk to all of you and be nice to meet you and your team. We plan to start the games at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, weather providing. If we have to work on the fields, we may have a 30 minute delay. I will keep a close eye on the fields tomorrow and keep you posted. I have directions listed below and the tentative schedule. If any team decides to stay longer or wants to play more than they are scheduled, please let us know. We appreciate you and your teams and want you to take advantage of as much field time as possible. My phone number and email address is listed below. Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions or problems.

Directions:
Coming from the South. 75 South to Franklin exit ( State Route 123). Turn left on 123 and head towards Franklin. Follow 123 through Franklin and you will be turning left in Franklin as you follow 123. Continue on 123 across the new bridge and into Carlisle. When you get into Carlisle, after crossing two sets of tracks, turn right at the only light in Carlisle onto Jamaica Road. The schools will be on your right and you will follow Jamaica Road until you see Carlisle High School. Turn right into the Carlisle High School and you will see the fields on the left. Field five is actually the high school field. Field 5 will be on your left and field 1 is directly behind it. The Carlisle High School address is :250 Jamaica Road, Carlisle, OH 45005 ( Carlisle may come up as Franklin on MapQuest or your GPS). Carlisle is very small so your GPS may prompt you to Franklin as the city.

Ohio Hawks Black vs Miamisburg Sting

Coaches and Parents,

I have visited the fields today and they are holding up well. Field 5 is doing fine and field 1 has a little water buildup around second, rh batter box and in front of the mound. Field 1 has a pitching rubber at 35 feet. Field 5 has a pitching rubber set at 43 feet. We will have to put a pitching rubber at 35 feet on field 5. We have a few of our coaches waiting till this evening and then we are going to check on the fields. We hope to have our first set of games go off without delay and I will be over there early Saturday morning. Remember, the Carlisle ****** team will set up a small concession during the day and the bathrooms will be opened. Please dress warm for the early games and whatever snack you may want, I am not sure what time the ****** team concessions will be open. Don't hesitate to call, email, text or flat out run me down with any questions or concerns. The weather has been on our side thus far, and we hope it continues. Get a good nights rest and to those that are traveling, travel safely and call me if you need any assistance.

We appreciate the help the was offered by your parents and your patience on getting off on a late start. Give us a call if you host a tournament or a friendly and we will try to make it.
