3T is good. The manufacturer of some of those same fences that 3T sells is actually in Avon. I bought some off of them last year for Palmer Field in North Ridgeville and they worked out great in the fall.

Thanks for the help folks! I will address the last several posts best I can.
1) Yes I am an owner and represent 2 of the 4 companies involved. I am also the lead person for the new group, to get the park up to speed, set the programming, and staff it appropriately.
2) We are contracting with a company to re-crown ALL fields in March, which will include not only a finer surface and drainage pattern but also the proper field mix.The grass areas will progress as the year goes on.
3) We have every intention of obtaining 200" temp fencing for fast pitch. Ironically, at our meeting 2-3 weeks ago it was brought up that it would be a good place for practice before a game as well. Thx for the 3T rec!
4) Many of the items pertaining to gate fees and amounts of field dragging/lining is a decision by the tournament director of the associated sanctioning body. The further they negotiate down the standard park usage for a given event, the more we will need to charge for gate fees and/or lessen the amount of field crew present. Its a difficult balance that we hope will become easier as the amenities progress.

For what it's worth, I enjoy this forum far more than cleveland.com travel baseball forum : )

Good to hear this. I have known Tony Ballachino for about 8 years and he is a good person who tries to go the extra mile for the teams. He was always handcuffed by Ted at Softball World and was in a tough spot with OSP running thin on money the last 2 seasons. I spoke with Tony a few days ago and he was very optimistic and excited for the upcoming season. Tony is a good softball person and will do well with support from the ownership group.

NSA has the state split in half now and John Deluca and Lisa Simpson are your contacts up there, but let me know if there is anything I can do to help out from the south.

I know what it has looked like the past two summers. The place does have potential if done right! All the power to the ones whom are taking on this task and I wish them the best in this quest.
It could only benifit everyone if it does get turned around. It will take time and hopefully it can be done.
