Girls Fastpitch Shoes, what your daughter / players footwear?

Shoes and cleats for your Fastpitch Softball Team(s) or daughters.

1.) What the best footwear on the market?

2.) What brand name, is the must have cleats in the girls fastpitch softball scene?

3.) How long should I expert the top of the line brand name shoes to last for my daughter or players?

My kid wore these:

They're not even softball cleats, but she figured they would make her quicker on the bases because they are very light. I don't know about that, they look cool though. When she saw them she said "If I had those all of my wildest dreams would come true..."

Ringer !! Great customer service... shoes last forever! DD has been a pitcher for 6 plus years Ringer is the only shoe to outlast her pitching. After two seasons had to finally order a new pair. No other pair has lasted longer!

Mike I've seen girls wearing track cleats. And I will agree the girls I seen wearing them were very fast.

There was some big blow up over them at a tournament. Some girls from another team posting pictures of her playing in them on twitter or one of those sites, I guess it kind of turned into a thing. One of those deals that no one should really care about but everyone does. We played that team shortly thereafter, she had a lot of fun in that game.

I am a shoe junkie. I study them and look for the best overall cleats for a specific type of athlete. Since I have two in travel ball we go through a lot of cleats in our house. For my pitcher, I find the Ringors are the best quality for the money. They really hold up. We hated the 3n2 for pitching. They are huge and heavy.

For my older dd who plays OF and MIF we buy the Under Armour Glydes. They are great for speed and quick lateral footwork. They are decent quality (but not as good as Ringors) and really good price point. I would not get these for a pitcher since their drag will put a hole in them in no time.

Ringors are nice, Boombahs have alot of cool colors, but seem heavy. I would go thru 2-3 pairs of nikes, both when i played and when the DD pitched, pure junk.

Ringor pitching toe is great for pitchers and catchers. Everyone else Ringor Bandits are light but still hold up. DD likes the Ringor Spirit (red, white, & blue) but they do not match team colors.

Have had nothing but bad experiences with 3N2. They are poor quality and don't come close to lasting a season. The sole separates from shoe. Used to have good customer service, but found very lacking currently.

Boombah molded cleats haven't failed us yet, although my DD is not a pitcher so no toe drag issues. They seem a little on the heavy side, but nothing that seems to slow her down much. They do make a very nice, lightweight turf cleat that hopefully ends up being in their molded cleat line someday. For the money, they are a good choice.
