DD played 5 games for the Cincy Storm this weekend at the Goshen Friendly.
Some good teams there.
Guys took good care of the fields. Concession people were friendly.
Nice tournament for the fall.

did'nt get to catch many 16u games. I know the OC Outrage , from Oldham Co Ky, went 5-0 including 2 games that they won 1-0 . They beat us (doom 95) 1-0 even though our pitcher had 20 K's ! Our O was on hiatus that game. We actually did'nt hit that well all weekend but scratched out a couple nice wins.

What other teams did well in the 16u field ? The 18u field seemed so even. every team was very good . MD

I'm sure the Indy Extreme did well at 16U. They were very talented and had a real nice pitcher. They beat us 4-0.

Does anyone have the final records for each team? Or at least the top 3 in each age bracket?

We didn't keep the scores to post since the games were 1 hr 15 drop dead - finish the batter.

I know the Cincy Ice 16U team record for the weekend was: 2-2-1

One of the best 16U games I watched this weekend was the Cincy Ice vs Cincy Storm.
Score ended in a tie- 3 all.
Didn't even have issues with umpires. Of course there are always calls that could go either way.

The fields were great, the concession stand had great prices. Parking wasn't even an issue- but if you are going to make the event larger next year- parking maybe an issue.

Thanks to everyone for pulling this tournament off.

Good: Teams, Competition, friendliness of concession and gate workers, Ky Teams ruling each age bracket, TD working with the requests of several teams who had scheduling conflicts, ground crews worked diligently throughout the weekend to shine those turds called ball fields, adequate parking.

Bad: Lack of temporary fences-hate ballparks that arent for fastpitch-shortest fence appeared to be 225 ft, throw down bases-spiked or not, lack of bleachers on most fields, entry fee-priced as if this was a Showcase and/or qualifier and it was neither, lack of standings/scoreboard, most fields had a lip at infield/outfield. Saw a minimum of three times it be an issue when a hit careened off lip by outfielders, once almost hitting a girl in the face-dangerous!,DROP DEAD RULE!!! Horrible. Finish an inning. No justifiable excuse for this rule, EVER. Outfields on many fields had dips, holes, and were lakes on certain fields.

Ugly: Morning weather, cold and wet. The restrooms were the absolute worst I have ever seen or heard about. Nothing like standing in a cess pool. Heard many of the girls were having problems in the womens. They were NASTY, UNSANITARY. The ballpark was pretty much a dump but I do understand it is all relevant. If that's what you are used to......

There were some very good teams there. Would have been nice to see them play each other on fastpitch fields as there were several balls that would have been gone but when playing on adult fields...........
