Great and Easy Fundraiser

I'm looking for some more good ideas on fundraising. We just did a laundry soap fundraiser and made just over $4,000 selling 5 gallon buckets. Now we are looking for something else that is similar to this kind. The good thing with the laundry soap is you don't have to wait on your money and it was an easy sell because its a product that every household uses daily. If any teams would like the info for this fundraiser email me at joebox8557@yahoo.com and I can send you the info for it. If anyone has any other good ideas please let me know.

We do a fundraiser through the local Dr. Pepper distributor. They sell us a case of 16.9oz bottles for 8.50 and we sell them for $12. Cheaper than you can get them at Walmart. That is if you have a Dr. Pepper distributor locally. And like with laundry detergent, almost everyone drinks pop.

We raffle of items at Christmas time. This year we are raffling off a $500 visa gift card. Each player sells 30 tickets for $5/piece. Who wont buy a $5 ticket with the chance to win $500 at Christmas time. It is a quick way to profit a grand.

You made $4,000. and you still need to raise more ? Wow ! I was thrilled with the $500 we made standing in front of Wal-Mart for 4 hours ! I wish my team could raise $4,000. , congrats to your team on that !

Yes we made $4000 and want a lot more. We play year round playing in atleast 23 tournaments a year. We have 2 teams a 12 and 14 and for each team our cost is $11,000 a year. The cost for my parents is $500. So each team still has $6,000 to raise. That $4000 got split between both teams. Once we raise our money for the teams then we start raising money for our World Series. This year we played in Columbus, OH at the Midwest and no parent paid for there rooms it was all paid for by fundraising. This year we are going to Orlando for the World Series so we have a lot more money to raise from now till July. That's why we start this early.

I didn't realize the response I have gotten from this post. I would like to thank all the coachs and parents who have expressed there interest in this and giving me some more fundraising ideas. I hope this helps all everyone out on raising some money for there teams as it has for mine. We will sell this again this spring. Not sure if we will have as much of a success that we had just had but every little bits helps. Once again thank you for your help with your ideas.

were you selling brand name soap or foul line chalk disguised as soap... just kidding. Sounds like you found an awesome fundraiser.

We just got in touch with our local concert venue and they are going to let us run one of the concession stands and we get a portion of the profits. Of course, we don't know yet how much we'll make, but the lady told us that teams usually do pretty well. Especially for only taking up a few hours out of your time. Plus, you get to listen to whatever concert is going on. And you don't have to keep bugging the family to buy something from you. lol

Lol it's not that bad. It's Tide, Downey, and Gain formula. I have been using it for 3 years now and can't tell the difference. For the price you can't beat it $45 for a 5 gallon bucket and it last my family of 5 around 6 months.

We checked into doing concessions for the Colts games and Pacers and it sounded good but there is a lot to getting your foot in the door like getting all the parents liquor license. I'm checking into some Bingo halls now to run Bingo games and do 50/50 drawings and raffles.
