Any other Ohio or Northern Kentucky teams considering either the ISA College Exposure (6/11) or ISA Joe Calwell Classic (6/18) in Tennesee. I sent an e-mail to the TD and actually was called by Joe Caldwell within a half hour. Quite impressive.

Yeah Joe is not really an email type guy. He will call you or have you call him. I remember the first time I talked with him over the phone and hearing that graspy voice of his. Talking about having to pay attention to every word to catch it all,LOL.
Like I mentioned early, Joe is a good guy and he puts alot into his tournaments.

As an 11U team, we are not planning on playing ASA states this year. We are still deciding whether to go to a week long WS or do a more controlled away tourney at a fun location. Pigeon Forge was one of the locations the parents agreed to consider. If we decide not to do USSSA WS, then the southern state is no longer necessity. Just getting options/info at this point.

Dave - We have decided to take the kids down to the SEAA world series this year to let them have some fun as an 11U team. I have heard a lot of great things about the tournament and I think the format fits well for this transition year. The communication has been great thus far with the TD down there and it seems like things are progressing well - I hope the turnout is good.

I have also heard good things about the SEAA WS. With the economy like it is, it is just a tough year to commit for a weeklong tourney (especially when you are younger).

If you don't mind, could you (and any other 11U's who don't mind) shoot me an e-mail of your tourney schedule for next 2010? I'm trying to see where a lot of the 11U and younger 12U teams are playing since the 11U year is such a tough one.
