Should clarify I haven't seen it a lot, but when I have it's foul ball.

So if a ball hits a batters hand while swinging and she has 2 strikes it is a strike out and not a foul ball? Seen it called foul ball virtually every time.

That can be a tough call if it also hits the bat. Was it bat first or hands first? Hard to tell in many cases.

Thinking back, hands got hit while swinging happened mainly at the younger levels. Unfortunately, the missed calls perpetuate the myth.
