Was hoping we could get JoeA back to Ohio for this, but being the ethical person that he is, Joe is sticking with Whitworth, where the team has substantially transitioned to one that supports Joe's philosophy of hard work. Nice to see someone putting the interest of girls that he has recruited ahead of the personal benefits of a different coaching opportunity.

Does anyone know what a position like this might pay? Sounds like a great job, but my guess is its not the highest paying job on campus - if this has to be how you support your family.

Lady Knights: that would be pretty hard to do because Ted is on the selection committee Now ask me whether he might apply if the position were to open after he has retired from teaching . . .

Mike: it isn't a high paying job, I suspect, unless you can prove you were successful at another college program. I think quite a few highly qualified applicants have applied already, so perhaps the stakes will be raised with the next coach.
