How do you score the out?

I don't have an OHSAA rulebook handy, so here is the situation.

Girl is bunting and is called out for standing on the plate when she makes contact with the ball.

First question - Who gets the putout and how do you score it in the book? (We couldn't find a "batter error" button!)

Second question - The bunted ball went foul. Was calling the girl out the correct call?

Fair or Foul, if the girl contacts the ball while her "whole" foot is outside the box, the batter is out. The batter can be standing on the line of the box and be fine, but if her foot is touching any part of the plate she is out.
My understanding, is that the player closest to the infraction would be credited with the putout. In this case, it would be the catcher.

Lady-Knights hit it correctly. Rule7 section 6. E. When any part of the foot is touching home plate when the ball makes contact with the bat. Being a foul ball doesn't matter she is still out.

The putout would be recorded as 2U(unassisted). I always make a note about what happened.

Let me throw you a curve on this situation. Same thing... girl squares to bunt, foot on base and she is hit by the pitch.

Is the pitch in the strike zone or a ball?

If its a strike, dead ball, strike.

If its a ball, dead ball, hit batter.

If she offered at the pitch: dead ball, strike.

If she was hit in the strike zone: dead ball, strike.

If she prevented the pitch from entering the strike zone: dead ball, strike.

If she made no attempt to avoid the pitch: dead ball, either a ball or strike depending on pitch location.

If she attempted to avoid the pitch: dead ball, award batter first base.
