How Many 16u/18u interested in Pony Qualifier

Just looking at Pony Nationals (16u-18u) being in Northern Ohio this coming year ( July 26th - August 2nd) and wondering if there are teams looking for a Pony qualifier in Southern Ohio as there are two that I see and both qualifiers are in Northern Ohio.

Would be willing to hold one in Southern Ohio if there is interest from the teams.

Dates could be: June 19th-20th or June 26th-27th or July 3rd-4th.

Send it to me. As you well know, Pony is an expensive tournament because of the money a TD has to send in to the National Office. I can't set an entry fee until I know what that is. But, I'm open to having one for the girls/teams if enough want to come play. Sent what you got to me Shayne and let's see what we can do.

Thta'll be great. Just thought I'd try to stop the long drive up North to qualify for the southern teams.

I'll try to call the Pony guy tomorrow evening and then I'll start advertising it out asap.

According to their website.. the Pony Southern Ohio UIC lives about two miles from me.

I'd like to make this happen for the girls.

Shayne.. I got your paperwork.. wow.. No wonder nobody wants to be a TD at a PONY event. You know we have to get 8 teams per age group to give out a berth.. just 1 berth. 1 per 8 teams according to the paperwork. I can do all what is asked by Pony to do.. big headache.. but I'd do it for the girls... but we got to find eight teams.

Still waiting to hear back from PONY.. Probally be Monday sometime I am sure.

My dd has played in the Pony Nationals 2 yrs in a row now. It is a very well ran National Tourney. The only thing I did not like is you have to go with their Hotel's If not, your team has to pay Pony $600.00 and if you pay your own berth, which last year was $600.00 That is $1200.00. The hotel we stayed at last year which was on the Pony list was real bad I mean real bad. The hotel's was not like a special price on them. On the other hand. It was neat how the Akron Racers got involved with the girls. They put on clinic's, girls got to go to watch 2 of their games.

I've e-mailed four PONY people and they have not gotten back in touch with me. Making phone calls today about it and trying to get info.

They do the motel thing so they can get kick backs from the motels. All the associations do that at their Nationals it seems like anymore.
