Love ...

- Knowing that if my DD forgot something, a friend on her team will lend her theirs.
- All the wonderful people my family has met on and off the softball field.
- Ten (10) other beautiful young ladies on our team that I can truly call my weekend daughters.
- So many truly talented athletes within our organization (I love them all).
- A shady spot wtih a blanket (where I can still see the field) on a hot afternoon.
- Watching my daughter walk off hand-in-hand with her boyfriend after a game and knowing that she still wants me around. Okay - I'm getting wishy washy and need to stop here :'(

Number 3 bullet point happened to me yesterday....
After DD slide into home to score she went to bench to attend to her strawberry as I looked over and saw the trainer poring paroxide(sp) on it ,all I could picture in my mind was when she was eight after her first injury balling her eyes out as if it was the end of the world.....As I looked up to see her face she smiled at me and gave me the thumbs up sign.....I teared up and thought to my self she has grown up SO fast......WOW that was awesome...... :) :) :) :)
