Field of Dreams owns a relatively late model Jugs Professional Grade Radar gun that cost about $1,450 when it brand new. I trust the readings we get from that, and we use it often. If it was good enough for MLB, it is good enough for us.
I observed several college coached at Stingrays tourney with the pocket radar, and those appear to be fairly accurate.
What's the deal with these new iPhone radar apps? Any good? Has anybody tried it? Obviously we always have our phones with it, but is it realistic to expect me (a coach) to stop catching Pokemons long enough to get a speed on a throw?
Gimme the good and bad with each of these.
Can the Pocket Radar or iPhone radar be used for tee exit speed?
INPUT?
