Jackson High School Fall ball

The Polar Bear Softball Club, Jackson High School softball booster club, will be sponsoring a fall ball league.

League Play will begin the weekend of August 26 & 27. Season will consist of 7 weeks of double header games and a 1 week single elimination tournament. That is a total of 15 games (weather permitting) minimum. All games to be played at Jackson High School and Jackson Township park fields.

14 and under will play Saturday games. 18 and under will play Sunday games. Travel teams wishing to play will be kept together as one team (as long as they are not violating the OHSAA eligibility requirements for HS players). All other girls will be placed on teams. Each team will not have more than 4 High School players from the same school.

Cost to play will be $500.00 per team or $50.00 per girl.

How soon do you need a response, and if you know, how many 18U teams do you expect?

The sooner the better, but the season is starting the weekned of August 26/27. I would like to have the schedule and the managers meeting sometime during that week so we can answer all questions.

I was planning for 8 teams in each age bracket, but can handle more.

Now that Nationals are over those registrations are coming in fast, Keep those registrations coming we still have plenty of room!!!

I heard games start at 10:30 am on Sunday's. This conflicts with players and church. Will teams be guaranteed later times if they request it?

I will do the best I can to make sure everyone gets to play the times they need. I know my team will be playing early every week.

I HAVE TWO DAUGHTERS THAT MIGHT BE INTERESTED. DO YOU STILL HAVE ROOM ON THE 14U MIX TEAM? BOTH ARE PITCHERS. ONE WILL PLAY 14U THIS COMING YEAR AND THE OTHER 12U BUT IS WILLING TO PLAY UP.
