Wheaton, Ill. – Wheaton College junior Kelly Thornton was named to the 2018 All-Great Lakes Region Softball Team as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) on Wednesday afternoon. Thornton picked up First Team All-Great Lakes recognition at second base this year to earn her second-consecutive All-Region award. She was a Third Team All-Great Lake Region pick in 2017 at first base.
