JV Teams

Don't hear much about JV teams on here....who are some of the better JV teams????

This is one of those areas that are so hard to figure out. Many JV teams have players who play both JV and some Varsity. No doubt that the JV team is much better when they have one of the varsity pitchers come down and throw a no hitter then they are when they are pitching the typical JV starter. No offense but there is a reason why they are working things out on JV.

BTW, I have seen more JV scores posted this year then ever before. Again they are typically meaningless as those teams are only playing for expereince and nothing else. Weather they go 20-0 or 0-20 it is of no significance. It is the level of work that they get in as they improve thier skills and try to make the varisty team next season.

our school has enough good playas on our jv to compete with a lot of varsity teams. our varsity coach said he could have made make 2 varsity teams out of all the playas. a win is a win is a win thats how we look at it down here know what im sayin

Is there a JV sectional champion, district champion, regional champon or state champion? Just asking.

Whew all I asked was who are some of the better JV teams not a debate about the significance of a JV team. Pretty sure there are quite a few JV teams who have quite a few girls who could play Varsity but because they are freshman or sophmores they have to pay their dues and wait in line behind the juniors and seniors.
Havn't seen any varsity players coming down to JV yet to pitch.....might be fun to watch though!

i am coaching a jv team this year for the first time and I think u should know that NOT all schools are bringing their studs down to pitch JV. We have 2 excellent freshman and they are on Varsity and that is that!!! I think the JV teams are totally shunned and it is shameful. Remember the saying? Your team is only as good as your weakest link? Well? Lets boost our gals up that are playing JV and see what happens. JV players are totally important. Any gal that is on Varsity or JV is special. They play the sport, some better than others but lets acknowledge them also instead of saying they are "nothings" That is horrid!!! JV should be in the stinkin newspaper too. Especially since politics screws alot of our real talent!!!!!!

Northmont has a good JV team they should win most of there games this year in the gwoc

In NWO we have quit a few really good Jv teams...no piticular order
Anthony Wayne
Southview
Notre Dame
Springfield
Oregon Clay
I am sur there is more but these are on the top of my head....

The JV team at Uniontown Lake is pretty good and has been for a couple years now.

Our JV team (New Richmond) has a record of 5-1. Another strong JV team is Western Brown with Sophomore Sarah Kelsey pitching. I believe they are undefeated so far which was our only lose.

Right now Wadsworth JV is undefeated with 5 shutouts.

Grove City's JV team is undefeated along with their Varsity!

I don't think Grove City's JV has played past 5 innings yet.

Teays Valley JV is 9-0

North Canton Hoover is 9-1 with loss against Wadsworth by 1.

Clear Fork is undefeated so far this year. Scoring 110 runs and only giving up 13 runs.

Marysville JV's are undefeated as well 10-0.
