"Lady Warriors" playing for W.W.A.S.T. this weekend in North Ridgeville need players.

The 14u Lady Warriors want to finish out the season with one last charity team tournament in North Ridgville.

We are playing in the Christmas in July fast pitch tournament ? July 24-26 at Victory Park.

Due to so many players playing in various nationals and such, we are in need of a couple players that want to be apart of it. Cost is 50.00 for the Wounded Warrior jersey(this takes several weeks to get in, so will not be ready for games, but will be provided when done with 20% being donated from each jersey) or if you just want to play its just whatever you'd like to donate 20.00 and up, with all proceeds going straight to W.W.A.S.T.

So far this season we have raised over 2000.00 in spirit wear purchases and cash donations to the W.W.A.S.T team.

All registered teams are permitted to camp out on the VPO soccer fields for the weekend during our 1st annual ?Twas the Night Before Christmas in July tournament. Christmas in July themed festival and additional activities will be held Saturday, July 25.

Your too kind. Arrah was awesome, very cool kid and very talented. I wish she was a year younger and did not have to move up quite yet, lol.

Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball Team brings home a little hardware, alittle more cash for the WWAST guys and some more great pictures and memories. Runners-up this weekend to Wolfpack Dudek going 5-1 57-19 runs scored-against for the weekend. Down 3 pitchers, Brooke and Maddog came up big to keep us in it, just ran out of gas at the end.

Three tournaments this year, 2 championships & 1 runners up. Total record of 18-2-1, with 198 runs scored and only allowed 48 against. Thanks to all the athletes & families that helped us raise money for this great cause!

Oookay. One last time, before we shut it down after tryouts. The Lady Warriors have been asked to play at Victory Park this weekend, Aug 8-9, and are in need of a pitcher(s). We have 1 pitcher and a backup pitcher if needed.

We are playing up at 16u this time. A nice way to send out 2015. Any donations will go to ump fees and then balance to the W.W.A.S.T. team charity as always.

Pool play on Saturday is 3:30-5:00-6:30 "3" games back to back to back. Then eliminations start Sun morning 9:30 depending on seeding. All or part of the weekend is cool.

Thanks again everyone who participated, donated, or played on our Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team benefit team, the Lady Warriors 14u. So proud of every young lady that participated this year for such a good cause.

Total record of 22-5-1, "2" Championships, "1" runners-up, "1" 3rd place at 16-18u, with 249 runs scored and allowed 75 against. Good stuff right there!

This is what the game is supposed to be about. If you don't see and feel this every time your kid plays, you might be on the wrong team. Great positive development, very competitive, but very much a team atmosphere and each and every player supports each other and wants them to do well. Pure love of the game and spirit of competition. Best softball experience we have had, can't wait to do it again next year. Great job everyone!!
