Lake Erie Insanity Fastpitch is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting youth girls in achieving their personal softball goals. Insanity was founded by coaches Dave Modock, Matt Bartlome, Matt Regal and Dennis Gerhardinger in 2014. The organization based from Lorain County has grown quickly due to the positive coaching influences, fastpitch experience and respect for the game. 2015 marked a great season for the 12 U team taking 1st place and NSA World Series Berth in Troy, Runner up and World Qualifier in Fostoria and 3rd at the USSSA Toledo Tuneup. Insanity also includes attention to off the field fun and team building with many planned team events for players and families. Parents and players will attest to the off the field fun and camaraderie.
In 2016 Insanity will have 12 U and 14 U teams with interest from a 16 U team. 2016 teams will compete in ASA, NSA and USSSA tournaments throughout Ohio and neighboring states. In 2016 tournaments will be scheduled locally in northern Ohio and 4-5 travel locations within a 3-4 hour range from Lorain County. Coaches focus on hard work, dedication and respect for fastpitch softball in every Lake Erie Insanity experience. Players are challenged to the best of their ability with positive interventions to achieve personal goals. Lake Erie Insanity is looking forward to extending the successes of the youth girls from 2015 for many years to come.
