Don was on vacation, I am not sure why he did not call you. There are 30 teams and say there is not enough interest at 16U. However 10U, 12U and 14U each have approximately 10 teams each. They will finish scheduling and regsitrations Wednesday.

As for having to appear in person for signups. Contact Don Holbrook and he can tell you if there is till spot available in your division

That's disappointing that you aren't having a 16U division now.

League play started Sunday and with 90 plus heat wave, 14U playing at Millers Park and they have had a lot of people interested. I think every diamond is being used at all the parks. This is a Very successful operation in fall recreation. It is giving me the opertunity to see new players and help them develope in our area. I just wished in past years we could have played in the fall. Everyone in LGSA has been friendly and very helpful as far as we have seen. Since we participate in the 14U it would be great to see the 16U develope as well so the ladies can continue into the future fall leagues as well.

I hope we can get a pitcher from the pool players. I don't have a lady that can kick field goals lol. We roughed it in a double header with 1 young pitcher and well you can guess back to back games in the heat that didnt feel like Fall weather. A Great league to help the kids improve by supplying fall games.

I'll second that ACE. My DD did not come in already on a team and was just placed on a 14U team that needed to fill a roster and she had a great time. She has played in the LGSA summer league 9 years (OMG - can't believe it's been that long...LOL) and has enjoyed every season.
I agree - I hope LGSA can include the 16U's next fall so those players can play through September.
I know the fall ball program has grown by leaps and bounds over the past 4 years or so and they've done a great job accomodating as many teams/players as possible with the current format of double headers on Sundays.
Thanks LGSA - keep up the good work.
