This event is for Top 14u (07), 16u (05 & 06), & 18u (03 & 04) that want to kick off the summer season with 3-100 minute games vs solid competition. Event is being held at the RVBFY Complex in Marion OH.
Structure will be as follows:
•$350 entry fee
•3gg
• 1 hour 30 minutes, finish the inning, 1 hour 40-minute drop dead
USA rules apply except with exceptions noted below
• A minimum of 1 new ball & 2 lightly used balls will be provided each game.
• Clock will start once the first warmup pitch is thrown. Games will start promptly every 2 hours. Please take the field quickly after umpires meeting to help keep games on schedule
• Up to 5 warm up pitches allowed for a new pitcher that game, 1 each inning thereafter
• Run rules will not be utilized. We will do our best to match up teams as best as possible to avoid lopsided games.
• Runner for pitcher and catcher permitted at any time with any runner, but if that runner comes up
to bat while still on base, offensive team with be penalized with an out.
• Lineup cards not required to be exchanged
• Roster batting is permitted (but up to coach) & free defensive substitutions with players in the
lineup
• Home/Away team determined by coin flip
• We will have 2 umpires per game
