Lima City Havoc will be holding open tryouts for our 12U, 14U and 16U teams on 7/30, 7/31, and 8/1
We are an organization whose primary focus is on player development and growth, while providing young ladies the opportunity to compete at a high level in regional tournaments. During the travel season, we typically hold 2 highly-productive practices per week, as well as individual and positional instruction. Our coaches have many years of experience and are passionate about helping players reach their full potential, implementing the most up-to-date and advanced softball skills training.
2019 Player cost will be $350, which includes:
Uniforms
In-season practice and out-of-season individualized development planning
6 tournaments, including 1 out of state (over night expenses paid)
1 or 2 D1 college 2-day team camps (expenses paid) -- this year, our players attended single team camps at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University, with college coach and college player instruction provided
Try-out times/locations:
Monday 7/30/18 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (hitting and fielding) and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm (pitchers and catchers) at Lima Senior varsity softball diamond
Tuesday 7/31/18 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm (hitting and fielding) at Spencerville varsity softball diamond
Wednesday 8/1/18 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (pitchers and catchers) and 6:00 - 8:00 (hitting and fielding) at Lima Senior varsity softball diamond
*Try-outs split into sessions for hitting/fielding and pitchers/catchers, in order to give full opportunity for thorough and individual assessment
