I wouldn't do Lebanon either. It seems they have a certain someone who runs that park that likes to enter HIS TEAM IN HIS TOURNEYS AND LEAGUES. Mr Hamrick is obviously unaware that this is against USSSA rules . I also have noticed that Hamrick likes to CONTROL which teams he allows in? Not sure why? I guess if more people complain then he couldn't continue to get away with his running the tourney and also competing in it! BLATANT DISREGARD FOR THE RULES. The Lebanon tourneys are usually full so essentially there is NO REASON FOR HIM TO DO THIS!

Wow, sounds like some real sour grapes.......A guy who has given thankless time & effort to run events for years.......He has been running the Lebanon Rec & Junior High program for several years with great success! Tell me who else is running Rec events that does not have an invested interest in the host team or organization??? Unless it is someone who is strictly doing it for profit - and better watch out for those! You def got the right nickname - All Day Whiner........

"All Day" no idea who you are - would like to know though. My name is obvious to my login.
I run 2 rec all star tournaments and a fall league out of Lebanon. As you may or may not know - these events are planned well in advance. I have NEVER turned a team away that entered by a deadline. Usually teams are allowed in after deadlines. Obviously you have never run an event or you would realize that there comes a point when team numbers have to be nailed down, schedules created, and umpires secured.
Please provide details of when a team you were involved with was turned away.
There were a few teams that contacted me this week ( 10 days after cutoff) because a tournament in Springboro for this weekend was cancelled because of a lack of teams. I could not take them as once again schedules were already created and communicated with several teams already booking rooms around their published game times. (Am I on to something with the Boro ID)
If you are referring to the SOGFSA 10u postseason event, that is the only tournament I run that is even loosely affiliated with USSSSA. That tournament is run by the SOGFSA - not me - we simply host it. Non SOGFSA teams are not allowed to play in it - league rule - not mine.
All of my other events, the new Rec Memorial Mash (new this year), the Rec All-Star event (11th year), and my Fall league (6th year) are not affiliated with USSSSA at all. Please help me understand what rules I am breaking by coaching a team in my own tournament and fall league.
While I appreciate your concern for my leagues and tournaments, please focus your efforts elsewhere. We must do something right as we have teams coming back year after year to both while events all around are cancelled on a regular basis.
We had representation from several local and respected travel organizations in our Fall league last few years, MV Express, Thunder, Heat, Slammers, to name a few.
I have a great idea for you - create and run your own tournaments and fall league and let me know when you have to cancel because no one will sign up. You can then send them my way to play.
Please respond - doubt you will.

So are you gonna tell the community who you are, "All Day" - or you gonna just be an Internet Tough Guy hiding behind a screen?
Really sad.......

Not sure I remember any Rec event not ran by someone who had an association to a team or org.........
Guess it will be time to step up to Select Ball & find something to complain about......

Sorry to interrupt the p***ing contest, but Corpus Christi has a Fall League. It is located just south of Forest Fair Mall off of 275: Hope the link helps and Rich is the guy that runs the leagues. Super nice guy

Well, the original poster edited his original post....LMAO
He basically bad mouthed Corpus Christi league, as well as a couple of others.
That is why All Day jumped on the original band wagon........

Nice move Tripel......

I never bad mouthed anyone. I simply said CC doesn't have the day I wish to play, Yes I did change the original post because Im new here and thought I could delete the post! But I couldn't. Yes I wanted to delete the post because I didn't get any answers. The post attracted negativity FOR SOME REASON. Guys like Thunder and All Day feel like this thread was the time to bash one another. All Day has an axe to grind and Thunder seems as if hes a little immature and likes running around getting in everyones business. The. Mason Thunder has the Nerve to tell me ' nice move" As if my original post got this stirred up! I never bashed anyone I think you are getting the people you are arguing with mixed up! Do I really need to do all of this just to find a fall league?

PS. Is Mason Thunder your real name? Why ask anyone their real name when you haven't given yours? Just a thought!

Looks like I am not the only one getting things confused then. You originally listed most of those who host fall leagues. No problem with that. I was actually commending you for attempting to now try to defuse the bad mouthing of a hard working individual. You seem awful touchy..........

Yes, when someone hiding behind a screen plays bully and bad mouths individuals who have spent countless hours promoting fastpitch softball in this area - I WILL DEFEND THEM! If this seems immature to you - so be it.

The site went down - my name & phone number & contact info was always in my profile - never hid behind a screen & never will. i will update f this is going to be the site from now on..........But my name is Russ Smith & my # is 513-623-9187. I would hope that the Mods would make all have this info, so we would get the internet tough guys. And people wouldn't be so quick to blast those who do the majority of the work!!!
