Hello,

Im Tim Shepherd I coach the Ohio Hawks 98 team. I have a couple girls in 8th grade who's school don't offer jr high teams or club. So myself and another have started a mixed bag of girls from other teams looking to practice and play as many games from March till about the middle of May. This would be a great time for extra work and to learn a second position better while there is no pressure. Please before you respond make sure your coach has no problems with this and if he has a list of things for you to work on we will make sure your dd is doing it. Even sometimes a different approach makes things stick in there heads better. We want girls who want to come in and work hard, we are not baby sitters, goal oriented only. We will push them to help keep what they've done all winter and to be ready to go when its time to go back to there teams. This is not a recruiting tool you will not be offered a summer spot, we are here to help and help only. All kids will play different positions a primary and a secondary and some even a third they don't know about yet. Need pitchers and a couple catchers and the rest we will make work. Good core only looking to have 10 or 11 as everyone will play every game fielding and hitting. Some travel will be involved but cost will remain as low as possible. If interested give me a call (513) 236-4147 Right now Im in need of a catcher, we have enough position players.

Thanks, Tim

Just curious....where and when will you practice? Do you have an idea of where games will be played?

We are playing in 2 tourneys and have friendlies the other weekends leading up to the fisrt week of May. Columbus is where most games will be played, a tourney in Hamilton, Oh and some games here in Cincy. Practice if we practice will be here in Cincy and those practices will be about 4 hours long to make it worth the trip. By the end of 6 weeks we should play about 20-30 games depending on weather. Any other questions give me a call.

Tim,

I'm interested...gotta talk to my daughter. She's a 99 birth year, a catcher and plays outfield and a little second base. Her school does not have a middle school team.

I may give you a call sometime this coming week to talk further.

Thanks,
Chris

That will be 2-3 times the amount some sanction teams will get.........lol
Sounds like a good deal
