Nokona or the Vinci. Personally, I like the Vinci better but it is a personal preference. Both are extremely well made and will last a long time. The Vinci seems to break in a litlle easier but not by much. Good Luck!

I can't answer which gloves are the best but far as loudest pop, find a stud pitcher.

1. All mitts posted above, plus the top of the line Mizuno (GSX31) are great options.
2. If you want loud pop, a deep, well established pocket is a must.
3. If you want loud pop, the catcher must catch the ball in said deep, well established pocket correctly.
4. As the mitt gets worn, the loudness of the pop diminishes.

The new Mizuno Intimidator mitt is what I would recommend. It comes with a built in speaker and with an app for your iPhone. You can program it to play any sound you want. You can program all the "pop" sounds you want or it also has ventriloquistic (if you knew me you would know this is a huge word for me to use...huge) capabilities. You can program it to say "that was a ball!" when Blue calls a strike and it sounds like it is coming from the other dugout. This technology will change the game or I guess you could buy a Nokona and find a pitcher that creates their own pop (they throw hard).:D

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also want a bat that only hits homeruns and never strikes out. I bet that is on the shelf right next to the popping mitt.
