When the opposing 3B coach tells the hitter to "watch for the change" before we send the pitch into the catcher. Time for high heat!

if i say it real early, its because my hitter struggles with the changeup, and i hope you hear me and do just that throw the heat which she loves...lol ;&

I didn't need a coach to teach me that, my kid made it abundantly clear, (I think about the time she was 10 or 11), that I wasn't to say A WORD! :D I remember trying to pass that lesson along to a good friend of mine who was always happy to give her DD advice, and she said "oh, my daughter doesn't mind!" :rolleyes:

The last time I gave my dd any advice was her first game in the first of four season with her team. When she arrived to the dugout after the inning, the coach kindly informed her that if she ever sees her listening to me again, it will be the last time she steps foot on the field for her team. Honestly, I don't think my dd has ever looked in my direction during a game since (school or club).

There is a time and place for everything. I assume the coach meant for her not to get advice from you during a game, and not anytime.

I just try to stay as quiet as possible. Thankfully, since I've started keeping score, I'm usually saying something like,"Didya see what hapened?"

Yup! And when coach says "watch the steal" he's usually hoping to convince the runner to stay put.

I get a kick how when people come to the OFC forums they are suddenly geniuses and wise beyond wise about what other teams and players do. I would think that many colleges are begging for them to come and run their program for them.

:lmao::lmao: Amen

Les...I "love it" when parents (or opposing coaches) do not know the rules of the game and lose their minds (and last reamins of self respect) and begin screaming - awesome!
