Low cost hitting clinic: Saturday September 14th

I will be conducting a low cost hitting clinic on Saturday September 14, 2013 @ 10 to 11:30AM. Venue TBA (North Olmsted or Brooklyn OH).

Hitting Clinic:This clinic will cover the basic fundamentals of hitting and the advanced techniques used by college and pro teams to maximize bat control and power. I encourage all campers to bring their own bat.

Cost: $20 per participant (Maximum of 12 participants) I may add another session if I have enough register.

My Bio is Below:


Angela Long?s education and professional background has provided her with extensive organizational , managerial and coaching experience. She has experience on the pro, college, high school, and elementary level teaching, coaching and working in the athletic department. She has also worked for the Akron Racers Professional Softball team as Manager of Tournaments, Clinics and Camps. Before moving to Ohio, she has had 5 years of successful NCAA Division II Head coaching experience and . Her coaching experience has given her a background in recruiting; monitoring academic progress; advising, facility maintenance; community outreach; and fundraising, pre-season conditioning and weight training, and practice and game coaching.

Long is currently completing her Masters degree in Sports Management and Coaching at Southern New Hampsire University. Her Bachelor?s Degree is in Physical Education with a minor in Coaching and Sports Administration. Her under graduate studies were a comprehensive education in sports administration, Coaching, anatomy, kinesiology, exercise physiology, management concepts in sport and fitness settings, Health and wellness, and athletic training.


While in Maryland Long also developed, a Baseball and Softball training company called Play Ball LLC. Play Ball, served the Metropolitan Washington area region. The service provided cutting edge training and instruction that helped develop a player?s ability and master the fundamentals of the game. She also worked along side of Mike Toomey, currently Special Assistant to KC Royals general manager Dayton Moore, doing various private lessons and clinics.

Softball playing background: 28 years of playing experience.College awards:? Most Valuable Player Award and Captain in 2000 - 2004? NCAA Softball ALL-American in 2004? USCAA Softball ALL-American 2002 - 2004?
#3 in the country in NCAA Division 2 for R.B.I.'s per game and #9 in the country for batting average at .469 in 2002. # 22 in the nation in batting average in 2004.
