Great weekend for the Lake Erie Diamond CHIX!
12u goes undefeated for the tournament and beats tough Ohio Classics for 7-6 win in the championship! (dd pitched consecutive complete games) We were one game shy of the championship game last week in Maple ASA losing to the Ohio Ice 6-3 in the semi.
10u beats tough Ohio Classics in semi to advance to championship. We took 2nd place losing to the Hurricanes in a pitchers duel 3-1. Congratulations to the Hurricanes 10u, they have a class team and organization. Hope to see them again!
Last week at the Maple ASA our 10u CHIX gave the Ohio Ice 10u their first loss in 35 games but lost in the championship. CHIX have earned ASA and PONY bids on consecutive weekends. ON A ROLL.........................
