Dennis givin' no love to GE.....lol.

Seriously though, GE brings every starter back and has a new coaching staff. I'm looking forward to seeing the team play together under the new regime. I just hope the weather people modify the temp upwards 10 degrees or more. Right now they are stating a high of 50F.

Dennis, after seeing GE last year (remember that wind blowing in from CF at about 30mph? I felt like I was sandblasted!) I would not have given any love to GE either. The times are correct for the GE games. GE plays both games at the JV field. This will the the 3rd year in a row GE does not get on the Varsity field.:( Oh well, at least the preseason preview is a good time. You get to see people from the TB world you haven't seen since the summer and fall.

Dennis,

I posted this under the High School section:

The Mason High School Softball Boosters and Wm. Mason High School are pleased to be hosting the GMC vs. ECC preview again this year in Mason on this Saturday, March 22nd. Come watch some good softball for a great cause!! Our seniors have selected Pancreatic Cancer as their charity cause this year so ALL proceeds from concessions and raffles will go directly to Pancreatic Cancer Research! We will have basket raffles, silent auction, split the pot, food and drinks and, of course, some good softball. Please come support our seniors and their charity cause!! Schedule:

Thanks for pointing out the wrong date. Same on my schedule which I got from the coach (dates are from last year). Sorry, the correct date is March 22nd. Times and field is correct.

Yeah, I brought home a few pounds of the field that day (looked like I just got done playing). GE had GREAT Student support and the wind did not stop their passion for cheering on their team! That is what High School softball is about. See you out there!

Well, it was chilly and a tad breezy but overall a decent day to play softball. GE played Mason first, and found out quickly you can't give a good hitting team extra outs. Tory hit a ball that still hasn't landed yet. It was CRUSHED!! Mason strolled to a 10-1 (or something like that) win. GE played Hamilton in their second game, tightened up their defense and pulled out a win. It was nice to see the girls outside and actually playing some softball. Come on warm weather!
