HELLO OFC WORLD!!!

It's been a while! I thought I would hop on here and let you know I am available for lessons this fall/winter! As of right now I am available every day except Wednesdays. If you are interested in learning the ABSOLUTES to hitting, detailed concepts on defensive mechanics which differ from infield to outfield, learning the proper routes-understanding the 5 different types of slides-awareness on running the base paths, and/or wanting to gain a better insight into comprehending how to control your own destiny during your at-bat-mastering the mental side of hitting, THEN feel free to call me, email me, or text me and lets get some lessons going!

I have recently done a few motivational confidence building seminars for entire softball organizations - giving extreme detail and insight into my life growing up in a broken home, how I was able to over come MANY bumps in the road, make it through HS, get recruited to a division 1 NCAA college (Mizzou) and then get drafted to play professionally for the Akron Racers. There is NO way looking back at my life growing up that anybody would have thought a homeless mother with 2 daughters would be where they are today! I have gotten extremely positive feedback after these seminars as Ive only done 3. So although it can be tough to open up, I am willing to continue to share

I worked with over 5 different organizations in IL and WI this past summer and the motivational confidence session really seemed to impact the girls ALOT more than I expected!!!! Telling my story is something new for me and its been excited for me to make a difference )))

Where do you hold your lessons and what are the fees for one on one hitting lessons?

This young lady is one of the best instructors out there IMHO. She is a constant student of the game as far as technics, is great in communicating with a variety of personalities, and cares about what she is doing. She is highly motivated and is a good motivator as well. I have two daughters that have gone to Micaela for hitting and a third daughter (12yo) seeing her now. I would highly recommend her as an instructor for all facets of the game.

Micaela is without a doubt one of the most exceptional instructors we have ever encountered. Not only is she outstanding when it comes to breaking down the mechanics of the game, she is also outstanding in motivating and relating to the girls. As hlawr mentioned Micaela is constantly in tuned with new developments in the game and can tailor them to the individual. DD is 14 and loves her lessons and can't wait to go every week. An added bonus is as parents we could not ask for a better role model for our daughter.

Micaela now also offers Video swing analysis. You can email her a video at virtualtrainingminner@yahoo.com and she will, for a fee, do a complete analysis of your daughters swing. Email her for more information. I use these analyses for players that I work with on hitting to show them in slow motion the parts of their swing with Micaela's recorded analysis. GREAT TOOL for coaches, parents, and players.
