Dear Coaches, Parents and Players,
Pinnacle Sports will be hosting another Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run this Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Medina facility.
It is open and free to boys and girls ages 7-14, with winners advancing to the sectionals later on in May. Each participant will have a chance to participate in Pitching (overhand for the Boys, overhand or underhand for the girls), running, timed from 2nd base to home plate and hitting for distance and accuracy. Overall and individual winners will advance to the sectionals, a total of 16 spots for boys and 16 spots for girls. In the past we have had between 30 and 50 total participants with many achieving a birth to the Regional?s during a Cleveland Indian?s game at Progressive Field in June. Those that qualify in Cleveland will continue to the MLB All Star Game in July!
Normally it will take a participant approximately 30 minutes to finish all three parts of the competition. Those advancing to the sectionals will be notified by Wednesday, April 30.
Come join in on the fun, test your skills and take a shot at going all the way to the MLB All Star Game in July.
