The Sinclair Community College baseball program will be hosting an indoor softball tournament in the beginning of January that will be sanctioned by NAFA (North American Softball Association). The indoor tournaments will be held in the 38,000 square foot Sinclair Community College fieldhouse.

This event allows teams to play real softball! Nine on Nine! All teams will play a guaranteed three games and/or one hour and twenty-five minute time limit. No inning will be started after one hour and fifteen minutes.

The Tournament will begin Saturday morning with 2 pool play seeded into a single elimination format.

The tournament is open to the first eight teams. The cost of this event is $275 per team.

Payment must be in one week prior to the event. Your team will be notified via phone or email on confirmation of payment. Schedules will be sent to the Team Manager listed below.

18U/16U/14U/12U 60 feet 40 feet
LF Line: 155 feet / 10 foot high net
CF Fence: 200 feet / 10 foot high net (Over Net or Wall Line is Homerun)
RF Line: 155 feet / 12 foot wall
Fieldhouse Surface: Tartan surface (rubber material)

General Fieldhouse Rules:
Admission: Adults: $2.00 per day Children: Under 15: $1.00
Concession Stand will be available all tournament
NO SUNFLOWER SEEDS!
Gym or turf shoes only, no cleats.
No water coolers. Water will be provided.
No food is allowed to be brought into the fieldhouse.

General Rules:
? Home team will be determined by coin flip.
? Team uniforms must be worn. Players can slide on the surface.
? There is no pregame or a place to take swings prior to game time.
? All teams must provide their own equipment. (Game balls are yellow and will be provided for game only)
? Games will be one hour and twenty-five minutes.
? No inning may begin after the one hour and fifteen minute time limit.
? You can bat everyone in your line up along with free substitution.
? We will keep track of the score and coaches can keep a book if they choose.
? Drop dead 1hour 25 min.
? Pitchers will have 3 warm-up pitches every inning & the infield can throw the ball around once every three innings prior to the start of the inning.

Fieldhouse Rafter & Net Rules:
? A batted ball hit into the rafters in fair territory and in the infield will result in an out. Runners do not advance.
? A batted ball hit into the rafters in foul territory anywhere will be ruled a foul ball.
? A batted ball hit in fair territory, that goes past the infield and into the rafters will be an automatic double. Unless the ball comes out of the rafters cleanly and then you will take the result of the play. Runners on base advance two bases. This is a judgment call for the umpires.
? A batted ball hit into the net in the outfield may be played, but if it gets caught in the net it will be ruled a double. Runner on base advance two bases.
