Question for everyone, I want to go see a Akron Racers game, I really don't know much about the teams they play. So what team or teams would I want to watch them play.

I got a chance to see an Akron Racers game last year and they played against Monica Abbot. I think Monica switched teams though. I looked at there rosters and for my money, I would go watch the USSSA Pride team. On there team is Cat osterman, Natasha watley, Catlin Lowe, Jessica Mendosa, Kelly Kretchman, and Luaren Lapin. It was a great experience at the Ball park.

Yes...definetly the Pride...Got to see them last year while at World Series....DD got her USA jersey signed by most of Olympic Roster while there. The Pride players are not only outstanding ball players, but very gracious with their time!

Since there are only a total of 4 teams in the league (unfortunately), you don't have much choice. All teams have solid players and you'll see some good ball played.

Sarah Pauly maybe the best pitcher you never heard of.
She brings it. Two hitter, a single to Crystal Bustos and a bloop single just over the infield.
Great place to watch a game. The players give autographs after. It is a very nice outing.

I'd say just check out the Racers' website as was suggested. It is the best family pro sports experience.

Great venue, see some very good pitching, DD's can take their autograph books as the players in the NPF league are just absolutely GREAT with the kids after the games. Bar none.
It's like everybody is in it for the same reason whether a player or a fan. The NPF is absolutely one of the very few.. where the players knows how to treat their customers, the fans. The way they treated the girls after the game was absolutely top shelf in my opinion. They get it as players. It takes fans to watch to bankroll their play as players. And they darn well give back to the fans.
I know in their opening home series in early June, there is some deals for teams as a whole.
I have an event in Dover in June and the Racers gave me the opportunity to send all the girls and coaches of the tournament to the game on me.. because of the price per ticket so I could afford to do so.
I hope we can pack the stadium to the point they put in outfield bleachers for the weekend !!!!
I agree Philbob, best bang for the buck to me, too. Love to see them one day do a Saturday double-header sometime in Southern Ohio.
You people up North don't know how good you got it being so close to attend a game.
Go Racers in 2011 !!!! Bring the League Championship Trophy back to Ohio !!!!!
