What happened to the lady that was there last year? She was the Junior High coach a few years ago. I thought that she would do a nice job. She seemed to have a passion and interest in trying to build a program. She vastly improved the Jr Hi talent in the year or 2 that she was there..

Most of the top GWOC programs such as Greenville, Lebanon, Northmont etc. have kids playing travel ball at a high level. If they don't get those kids involved with that, they won't stand a chance. Even if you cant have a feeder system like Ohio Wave for example, all those middle school players need to find teams. The coach doesn't have to have a feeder, but would be nice.

well demon my dd played for the Ohio Wave the last few years and and some of the other girls are playing travel ball and yes everyone knows that is the key but a feeder program works and every school you just mentioned all have great feeder programs and also allot of travel players and also their community is more involved with having a gd softball team in HS Jim yes she was very involved in the girls and was bringing great things to Xenia and there program but was getting shot down on just about everything she wanted to do!!!!! Always had to struggle with anything to improve getting thins done so like i said im a very good friend of hers and she has coached my daughter in some of her best years and always did a great job but didnt need the stress anymore and spend her time with her own family and also a very busy job as a realitor.I wont mention names but not very fond of the AD no interest as i can see in softball

Feeder program is really important, your spot on. It's the ignition that builds many programs, creates interest, strengthens numbers, introduces kids to the game that might not have tried it and of course leads to more kids in the community playing travel ball or kids playing year round.

I agree. What I'm saying is that you don't have to have a feeder program. If you don't, you better get the girls on top level travel teams.
