Does it bother you when you see a post from Coaches asking players to leave their current Team and join theirs during the season.
The reasons are always better coaching, more playing time, more exposure, nice families and the list goes on and on.
My rant is if you only have 10 or 11 players and your dealing with injuries and who knows what else. If you lose a player this way it pretty much sucks for that Team and Coach for the rest of the season. I know its part of the game but wouldn't it be more ethical to be advertising for Sub Players verses taking a player off another team no matter what! I bet you these Coaches wouldn't like it done to them. Sorry if I offend anyone but it bothers me when I see these posts!

Right over here!
Seems to be a very touchy subject lately... Subs vs permanent. The bottom line is things do happen. Most of the sanctions have a provision and a process for fill in players. The problem is most coaches don't know how and what the differences between sanctions and/or requirements. Lots of misinformation out there. There is always a right way and wrong way to leave a team, however at the end of the day it is a personal choice. The grass is not always greener and there is fault with Coaches/players/parents. No one is exempt.

As far as posting one thing and doing another well that's kinda why you have to do your own homework.

Best advice is don't take things personal. Sometimes when you argue with a idiot the people watching don't know who the real idiot is!

The key here is coach's ask,its ultimately its up to the player/parents to go thru w it.Dave don't think it will ever be any other way. Most exposure teams don't carry more than 12 so everyone gets some field time. Some coach's don't deliver on promises,Some teams just don't work well together,Why not try to make it better if the clock is ticking on exposure for your dd,if your in it for experience stay there and learn from it.imop

Dave ... I certainly agree with you to the extent that a way a "looking for players ad" is worded ... obviously teams are going to need players due to injuries or illness, or because some of their own players have left for other teams ... but I don't like it when it's mid-season like this and they word it "if you're looking for something better". In the end, it's the players and their families who make the decision to move or not, but it rubs me the wrong way that they're encouraging someone to not honor their commitment. If you have an opportunity, then share what it is, why you have it, and where you're going to be playing, and just leave it at that!
