SBFamily,
I have been involved with this camp since it came to Toledo about 6 years ago... originally hosted by SGS Magic and now FAST/Wizards.
Each year this has gotten better. ?You will hear the "fors" and "against" posted here. ?Hermom is correct... the key is for each player to notify the prospective college coach. ?The camp in on a Thursday and the tournaments start on Friday morning. ?The Great Lakes Invitational and ASA 18U State will be held in conjunction with the camp. ?All games will be 90 minute time limits and teams can bat their entire line-up and freedom of defensive substitution. ?These tournaments are only for the 16 & 18U this year to enable a maximum number of college exposure. ?The Great Lakes is full but there is some room at the State Tournament. ?Players can attend the camp without participating in the tournament.
I have personally seen many girls benefit from the camp.
If you have more specific questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at fast2home@yahoo.com or you can post here.

Thanks for the info. I had some parents ask me if they should take the dd to this camp.

I would say yes.. even if they are sophomores... it's nice getting the butterflies out so the following year they would know what to expect.

All exposure is good exposure...make sure to let your athletes know they need to contact coaches to let them know they are attending and invite them to come watch. Coaches will come if they have a reason to come. Give them that reason!
