Its that time again, now that the dust has settle with the coaches what are everybodies thoughts on the entire NWO scene?

I personally love what all the high schools did in regards to getting a coach in place, I personally see some really great fits.

I will be watching a tad more games this year with my daughter due to the fact that the spring of 2011 she will be up there playing ball. Going to watch and see how they run things and watch some of her future teammates in action.

Wonder what the over/under will be with games being snowed and rained out.

Uber...you read my mind...I was just thinking that we needed to get a thread going to talk about the NLL, TCL, SLL, etc...

Let's shake it up a bit. Who have you heard is not coming back to softball that could impact their team? I have heard a couple rumors about different seniors not coming back to their HS teams due to jobs, burn out, etc... The only confirmed one is Adrienne Dick who graduated early and is now playing at BGSU.

TCL Here is my final four prediction
1. Clay
2. Central Catholic
3. Whitmer
4. SUA

NLL
1. Perrysburg (with a healthy Bryson, bump Perrysburg down two spots if she is not)
2. Springfield
3. Southview
4. Anthony Wayne

I agree with Clay on top.
Central doesn't have enough guns to be at the 2 spot.
I bet Whitmer contends.....
SUA is about right at 3rd or 4th.
ND won't be in the mix.
and then the rest..........

Springfield and AW will battle for the top spot all year and both have the coaching to win the NLL.
Southview has the pitching and enough talent to win the NLL. Should have won districts last year. Depends on what the new coach can get out of them.
Perrysburg has the pitching but I?m not sure they're deep enough to win it all.

This might wind up being one of the most interesting seasons ever in the NLL. Front runners getting unexpectedly knocked off. Lots of surprises and upsets. Weekly changes in the standings. NLL fans will be scrambling to get the paper in the morning for line scores

TCL
1 Clay, Untill someone knocks them out they will be #1 for a while
2 Whitmer, Sumner I believe will have a great year
3 SUA, Good talent returning with 2 proven pitchers, and best hitter in area
4 CCHS/NDA Edge going to CCHS Cuz of Seiler, but with Norm at NDA and some good incoming freshman they may suprise some.

NLL
1 Springfield, Pitching and Offense may be the best overall team around
2 Perrysburg, I think Demars will have the biggest impact out of any new hires
3 AW, Maybe the best 1-2 pitcher combo with Haley and Kurfis
4 Southview, Only lost 2 (i believe from last year) good talent coming back

With all the coaching changes There will be alot of new faces around and should be very fun to follow..

Good luck to all and have a enjoyable and healty season

I will go with Clay's Erin Simon being the best hitter in area and Kim Crawford having the best OBA. Allen would be in the top ten this year.

The SLL, my source tells me it will be between Elmwood and Eastwood. I am going to give the edge to Elmwood. Players to watch Dweyer of Eastwood and Lee of Elmwood they could make the difference on who wins. Woodmore lost their ACE and I am not entirely sure about Genoa, heard they lost a lot and then that they had a lot returning lol, somebody fill me in!!!

NWOAL It seems like its going to be a one Horse race with Archbold, graduation hurt this league IMO. Archbold has a hard throwing replacement for Kern and the offense. Probably dont want to sleep on Wauseon with Chloe Stiriz and Maddog.

Clay
Whitmer
NDA
SUA
Graham will have plenty of support on offense and defense. Stib will have another great year. Simon and Crawford are the real deals.
Erdman and Sumner will have a great final year.
NDA has Kujawas and Gillespie... two of the finest coaches. I have no doubts that they will have some surprises.
SUA has been in the final 4 for so long that it wouldn't be right if they were not included.

Central has Siler but two of their best players graduated and their head coach is gone. As good as Erin is, she may not have the support to carry the team to the final 4.

The tough NLL is a **** shoot.
I am picking Anthony Wayne with Carolyn Vogtsberger back as the head coach as the team to beat.
A healthy Bryson and Perrysburg will be tough.
Southview with O'Reilly is always going to be a good game.
We can never count out Springfield. The Seniors are in the final season to do what they have been working hard towards for the past 4 years.
So, I am predicting AW to win it all and **** shoot for the next three spots. It would not surprise me to see a 3 way tie for the championship again.

I am asking all who back Central softball, not to make a comment on this quote.
It takes 9 players to play the game.

Soft77 and Central Catholic fans.... my comment was not intent to be a "bash" on CCHS or their new coach. Anytime a new coach takes over a program there is an adjustment period on both sides. It is tough anytime a school loses two of their best players.
Good luck to Larry and the CCHS girls.

This post seems to me to say exactly that it is a team game, saying that the pitcher is good but that their might not be enough support (other eight players) to get it done. I did not read this statement as a bash on Central softball. I am also not trying to bash them (I picked them second:D)
