Ok, now it uncomfortably feels a little like a uelogy. :lmao:

Glen Widner (Eagleone), the new Lasers Black coach, is a quality coach and person. He has existing relationships with college coaches and prepares and promotes his players extremely well. There is no question, Glen is about helping these girls achieve their dreams of playing at the next level - team wins and tournament championships will be a resulting bi-product not the primary goal.

My dd is super excited about playing for a Lasers Black team coached by Glen. He's the right guy to coach this team in its next phase (and the right guy to coach my dd).

I have two more dd (9 and 5 yo), I like to think of it as reloading...

Everyone on here seems to toot their own team's horns, so I am going to follow suite and do the same thing.

The Montgomery County Hammers have two very good young coaches in Tami Lasley and Jen Reimer. They led a team that was OK last year to very good this year. The Hammers finished 34-13-1 this year playing a pretty tough schedule. For a team that has mostly girls from one school, they do well against a lot of the bigger organizations that draw players from all over.

Tami and Jen never raise their voices, but the girls know when they mean business and respond very well to their style.

They get my vote as coach of the year.

Played the Hammers twice this year and can attest to the great coaching of these two. I came away very impressed at how hard their girls play the game and like MC said, never heard the coaches raise their voices. You definitely have two keepers there MC. I was an assistant coach on the OFC Blast 14u.

I am also going to have to give a shout out for Mike Wilson. Has done an excellent job of building the Lasers Black team up in a short amount of time.

Also really admire John Miller and his relationship he has with his girls on his team.
