Ohio Classics 05 Information and Tryouts
Ohio Classics 05 will be comprised of serious 05 softball players with great families. We plan to play and compete at a high level. Current players are also involved with church, arts, basketball, volleyball, and swim teams. We encourage multi-sport athletes, as long as it doesn't interfere with Spring/Summer schedules.
We have our own exclusive outdoor field were we can practice during Spring/Summer/Fall. Pickerington Central High School may be an alternate practice field in the Summer months. We will practice weekly indoors during most Winter months, taking team members schedules into account. We would like to field 2 teams for Mannino's Live Softball Pitching Hitting League. Spring and Summer practice schedules will consist of 1-2 practices per week.
We are looking for all 05 players, specifically 2 pitchers, a catcher, and utility players to fill our roster. All pitchers and catchers will play other positions in the field. All players will be developed at multiple defensive positions.
We will practice in the Pickerington and Canal Winchester Ohio areas.
Potential Tournaments will be:
Fall 2016: 1-2 local tournaments and friendlies
Winter: We will try to do 1 overnight tournament
Spring/Summer: 9-10 tournaments, Berliner, Lancaster, Lasers, ASA States, Stingrays, GAPSS, possibly 1 overnight or out-of-state, and friendlies
