OHIO GLORY is devoted to developing student athletes that want to take their dreams of playing competitive fastpitch softball to the next level, whether it be high school or at the collegiate level. Ohio Glory '01 is looking for another strong pitcher to support and push our existing excellent pitchers through this next year and beyond. We are looking for that starting pitcher who is capable of taking command against the best of teams and who is also a team player. Good bat is a plus and speed on the base path is important as well.
We will also be looking to add one or two strong hitters or a speedy lefty slapper

This team will be playing a very tough schedule next year with many opportunities for the players to display their abilities at high level and showcase tourneys.
This team uses Field of Dreams as their indoor practice facility for winter practices which is co-owned by the head coach of the team. (It's a nice perk!)

We are paying close attention to the weather forecast for this Thursday's tryout. What we have decided is that IF we get a whole lot of rain Thursday morning and afternoon, and IF you are ONLY able to come to this one Ohio Glory tryout (meaning you cannot attend either Saturday tryout date), then we will proceed as follows:
We will ask any known returning players to NOT come to this Thursday's tryout in order to allow all of the time for new players. Then we will move our tryouts to Field of Dreams indoor practice facility, 731 Slocum St., Lancaster OH.
Same time, 6:00-8:30 for all age divisions.

This decision will be made and posted here by 12:00 noon this Thursday!!

Further to this last post...IF Thursday's tryout is moved to Field of Dreams, please bring tennis shoes. No cleats will be permitted on the turf inside FOD.

Ohio Glory 98 is looking for 4 athletes to join our already strong group of girls. We are looking for one more Pitcher, Thirdbaseman, and 2 Speedy Outfielders/Utility. These athletes must posses a strong bat or be a lefty slapper with lots of speed!


Our 2015/2016 season goal is to do a mix of showcase tournaments, ASA and PGF tournaments, and to attend as many college team camps as possible!


This team places a heavy emphasis on preparation for the college recruitment process. Our coaching is geared toward getting our players to understand how their performance, effort, and attitudes would be perceived by college coaches every time we take the field. If you have a desire to continue your softball career into college or have the desire to be a starter for your high school, we may be the program for you.
This fall we have already solidified playing in several college team camps!


Things we are looking for in a player: Candidates should have a passion for the game and be willing to work hard on perfecting her skills on her own outside of team practices. We are looking for a player who exudes energy, personifies hustle, and brings joy and enthusiasm to the dugout. Most of all players with a desire to win, to do what it takes to win, and will push her teammates to be better.

This year we welcome a DII signed college pitcher to our coaching staff. She will join us as much as possible in the fall and will be with us full time in the summer after completing her Freshman year at Ashland University. Her knowledge will be second to none at helping the girls achieve their college goal!

Tryouts have been officially moved to Field of Dreams for this evening!!! Please make a note of this. If this is the only time you can come to tryouts, then please come to Field of Dreams, 731 Slocum St., Lancaster OH 43130. FOD is located 1/4 mile west of the intersection of Fair Ave & Memorial Drive (SR33). Go West on Fair from there, and turn left onto Slocum. FOD is 2 blocks south, on the right. We will make all attempts to provide as much close parking as possible, but you might have to park on the street.
FOD is a NO CLEATS Facility. Please bring tennis shoes for this tryout.
See you this evening, from 6:00-8:30. Please arrive by 5:30 to register and warm-up.

Thank you to all players who came to our tryouts today.
This is the craziest weekend of tryouts and many players have 2-4 different tryouts planned this weekend.
To help you in the planning process, Ohio Glory '03 is arranging private tryouts for a dominant pitcher to help lead this team next year. If this weekend didn't produce the perhfect situation for your daughter, and if she is looking for a team that will enable her to get the circle time she deserves, call Coach Kevin at 614-519-2079. This team is really only missing that one piece...the other parts are there, including "rock star" access to Field of Dreams in Lancaster all season long to maximize their ability to develop their players' potentials.

OHIO GLORY 04 looking for 2 more athletes

OHIO GLORY 04 is currently looking to add a couple pieces to an already strong group of girls.
We are looking for two athletic players who are great individuals on and off the field..
OHIO GLORY 04 is central Ohio based and will teach the players the fundamentals of softball and have fun all while playing top tier competition.
OHIO GLORY 04 is proud to be able to work out year round @ Field Of Dreams Training Facility to continue to develop the girls in the off season or during times when other teams can't get outside.

Tryouts this Saturday August 15th from noon - 2pm @ Diley Rd. Fields in Pickerington.
