The Ohio Hurricanes 03 team is looking for 2 players to fill out their roster for 2017. We are in need of a pitcher and an infielder. We are returning most of our team from a very successful 2016 summer!! We will be a 13U team but would certainly take a player with a 2002 birthday as well.
Our Organization is based out of Mentor. We practice at Riverside High School (In Painesville Township). We are looking to again play a competitive schedule. We have a highly motivated group of girls that are athletes and do play other sports.
The Team is coached by Bill Ross. He has been a high school for the past 14 years and this is his 4th year as a travel ball coach. He and his assistant coaches bring a strong knowledge of the sport and work to make every girl better.
Our record this past summer was 59-10 and we didn't finish lower than 3rd place in any tournament. The season was highlighted by going to Ocean City, Maryland for USSSA Nationals. There were 76 teams at Nationals and we finished 2nd. Here are our season Finishes:

Dayton Metro (2nd Place)
Valley Extreme Summer Starter (1st Place)
Outlaws Invitational (3rd Place)
Sheer Madness (3rd Place)
5 Alarm Classic (1st Place)
Fireworks Frenzy (1st Place)
Cinderella Classic (1st Place)
USSSA Nationals (2nd place out of 76 teams)
Finished 3rd in the OFC coaches poll...for what's it's worth!!
