About us: The Pittsburgh Lady Pirates Softball Organization has been formed to provide a platform for those players that are committed to enhancing their softball skills through hard work, academic achievement and sportsmanship. We are dedicated to the promotion of fast pitch softball in the Western PA and Tri-State area. We strive to create an environment for young ladies to learn confidence, and integrity to compete through youth sports.

Primarily based in the Northern and Eastern areas we welcome all area softball players who have a desire to be the best they can be, want to practice and play hard, are strong team players and who have a goal of playing softball after High School. We are aggressively seeking sponsors to keep team fees extremely low while providing the highest level of instruction and competition in the area. Teams are forming now so contact headcoach@pittsburghladypirates.com now for more information or to arrange a try out.

We are a one team organization that started as the 12 & Under Little Devils, and I have kept them together as we are now entering our 18 & Under age group, after playing 16's last year. The majority of our girls could still do 16's, but for exposure and better competition they voted to move up.

Closest City: Home is Connellsvile, we are about 45 minutes south of Pittsburgh.

We have try outs, but pretty much its been the same team for the past 4 years, comprised of girls from Connellsville, and Mt. Pleasant High school.

Connellsville Cyclones 18 & Under

A brief description of our organization is we have a group of girls that love softball and play the game hard. The team was started because I was a high school coach in the area and felt the there was a definite need to get the players outside of this area because fast pitch isn't very strong in terms of competition and leagues here.

We have had our share of success, and right now, we have several girls looking into playing at the college level. Our pitcher recently signed with Gannon University. We are looking at putting together a competive schedule for next summer as we will cut back on the total number of tournaments we play, but will be looking at the same amount of games.
