I honestly don't know of any for "A," and from past years just by looking at the ASA website it has been dominated by California, Oklahoma, and Texas teams. I am a coach now, but the highest I ever placed as a player was 9th.

forum,
Last years 18u Coke/Ice team placed second at their ASA 'A' national tournament....Mike Clary, Joe Frobase were the coaches... This is the BEST any team from Ohio has done in the last ten years within any of the age brackets... The Maddogs had a tie at #10 in the Gold a few years ago...

That's awesome--what age group is this team? I am hearing more and more about this team--where are they based out of? Sounds like a tough team to beat!

I believe the Phoenix 18U placed 1st in the ASA "B" division 4-5 years ago.

That was the USSSA "B" nationals that Phoenix won. I don't think they play ASA tournaments.

forum,
By winning the 'B' national you would then qualify for the following years 'A' national...

I believe there was a Laser 14u team that won the ASA national a few years back (four?) when Alison Cox was pitching for them.

forum,
ASA gives you access to this information on their site... Final results for past national championship tournaments is available... and much to my dismay, no 'A' championships for Ohio teams...I'll keep trying, but doubt I'll ever get closer than Clary/Frobase...
