Coaches and Friends,

I just wanted to make a post and make contact with our softball family members.

Just over two weeks ago I accepted the position of Head Coach at Penn State Greater Allegheny, which is located in McKeesport, PA. I am very excited about this opportunity as I am confident we can build the team into one of the top team in our conference and also in the United State College Athletic Association.

In the very near future we will be announcing the name of our newest assistant coach, who also pitched for Division I Drexel University near Philadelphia.

One of the reasons for the post is is I'm trying my best to build our roster up. When the previous Head Coach was told he wouldn't be returning several of the girls that where to come in for '09 changed their minds about coming due to uncertainty of who would be the new coach. I didn't get hired until the fall semester was in session. So now I have the task of trying to find some recruits for the Spring of this next semester, and also for '10. One thing I can offer to new incoming players is immediate playing time, as we only have 11 on our current roster.

If you know of anyone maybe last year or the year before who isn't playing softball that would like to, or maybe should be. Please ask them to contact me, or forward me their contact information so I can try to contact them. I will be losing another player off of my current roster in the spring as she will be transferring to Penn State University Park.

In the Spring our opening tournament will be in Cocoa Beach, Florida. We are also scheduled to play 38 games in the Spring of '10.
But most importantly the players will be getting a degree from one of the finest schools around in Penn State University.

Thank You for your time.

Still looking, I found 1, but would still like to pick up some players, 10 girls with a 38 game schedule will be tough. I am hammering the Recruiting for 2010, as I just sent out over 550 letters to possible recruits.

Feel free to contact me. Thanks
